My (Recommended) Bookshelf
Ok, this isn’t exactly my bookshelf as there are a lot of books I own, but simply can’t recommend. These are the books that I found valuable on my Fastlane journey. I’ve categorized them relative to the subject matter and genre.
General Entrepreneurship and Wealth
There really aren’t a lot of books like TMF which is why I felt compelled to write it. I wish this list was longer.
An older book I read in my late 20’s — definitely helped crystallize Fastlane theory.
Surprised? Don’t be. I know I know; I tend to “rip” RK more than give him credit but I really do think his FIRST book is a recommended read. Everything thereafter? Not so much. And more importantly, RK is a great Fastlane success story.
A compilation of great short stories of success, and how they overcame.
Mindset and Motivation
A huge book and a great value at unlocking the barriers of your mind. This book got me through my rough patches!
Growing A Business, Customer Service
Superior customer service is a critical element of exponential growth.
Another oldie, but goodie.
Growing A Business, Advertising and Marketing
A great primer on how to get more people to buy what you offer.
While this might come across a little spammy/hucksterish, Maria does a great job of how to craft web copy that compels people to buy.
Why some ideas persist and why others die.
A great introduction to how you can leverage stock options for income, insurance, and investing.
Another great option starter guide.
An investing classic.
One of the books I read prior to starting a publishing company.
Lots of ideas and a big heavy book! Takes weeks to read!
Other (Lifestyle, Fiction, Etc.)
A great reflection on how we should not take our time (our life!) for granted.
Marriage is the biggest decision you might make in your life; make sure you make the right choice.
